Style Guide

What it is

A style guide covers the editorial and communication rules of your brand — how to write your company name, capitalization, punctuation, tone guidelines, and approved terminology. The writing equivalent of brand guidelines.

Why it matters

Without one, every person who writes for your brand makes different choices. It's death by a thousand small inconsistencies.

The mistake most people make

Not having one. Even a one-page cheat sheet with your top 20 rules makes a huge difference.
