What it is

Email marketing is using email to communicate directly with your audience — sharing content, promoting offers, nurturing leads, and staying top of mind with existing customers. It's one of the oldest digital marketing channels and still one of the most effective. Unlike social media, you own your email list — no algorithm decides who sees your message.

Why it matters

Email consistently delivers one of the highest returns of any marketing channel. The people on your list have already said they want to hear from you — that's a warmer audience than almost anything else you can buy or build.

The mistake most people make

Treating email like a broadcast tool — blasting the same promotional message to everyone on the list and wondering why open rates tank. Email works when it feels personal and relevant. Segmentation and sequencing are what separate the businesses getting results from the ones getting unsubscribes.
