What it is

Brand architecture is how you organize and relate multiple brands, sub-brands, or product lines under one company. If you have a parent company with divisions or sister brands, architecture is how they all connect — or deliberately don't.

Why it matters

Bad architecture confuses customers. "Wait, is Firebrand the same as WebbArt? Are they competitors?" Clear architecture eliminates that confusion and lets each brand do its job.

The mistake most people make

Creating separate brands when they should be sub-brands, or lumping everything together when they should be separated.
