Ad Copy

What it is

Ad copy is the written text of your advertisement — the headline, description, and call to action that appear in your ad. It's the words doing the selling before anyone even reaches your website.

Why it matters

Your ad copy determines whether someone clicks or scrolls past. In a search ad, you have fractions of a second and about 300 characters to convince a stranger you're the right choice. Every word earns its spot or it doesn't belong there.

The mistake most people make

Writing ad copy that talks about your business instead of the customer's problem. "We've been in business since 1998" does nothing. "Get same-day HVAC repair — no overtime charges" speaks directly to what someone stressed and sweating in July actually needs to hear.

Want help with this?

Knowing what Ad Copy means is useful. Having someone implement it correctly for your business is better. Let's have a real conversation — no pitch, no menu.
