Landing Page Quality

What it is

Landing page quality is Google's assessment of how relevant, useful, and trustworthy your landing page is for the people clicking your ad. It factors into your Quality Score and directly affects how much you pay per click and how often your ads are shown.

Why it matters

Your ad can be perfect, but if it sends people to a slow, confusing, or irrelevant page, you lose the click and Google penalizes you for it. The landing page is where the sale actually happens. It's the most important part of the paid advertising equation that most people underinvest in.

The mistake most people make

Sending all ad traffic to the homepage. Your homepage serves every visitor — it's not built to convert someone who just clicked an ad for a specific service. Build dedicated landing pages matched to each campaign. Focused pages convert dramatically better than generic ones.
