What it is

A call to action is an instruction that tells your visitor what to do next — "Book a Free Call," "Get a Quote," "Download the Guide," "See Our Work." It's usually a button or a linked phrase. Every page on your site should have at least one.

Why it matters

Without a clear CTA, visitors don't know what you want them to do — so they do nothing. A well-placed, clearly-worded CTA is often the difference between a website that generates business and one that just sits there looking nice.

The mistake most people make

Using vague CTAs like "Learn More" or "Click Here." These tell the visitor nothing about what happens next or why it benefits them. "Get Your Free Website Audit" is specific, valuable, and compelling. "Learn More" is a placeholder.
