Unique Value Proposition

What it is

Your UVP is a clear statement of what you offer, who it's for, and why it's different. It's not a tagline — it's the strategic statement your tagline is built from.

Why it matters

It's the answer to "why should I hire you instead of someone else?" Without a clear one, prospects default to price comparison.

The mistake most people make

Being generic. "We provide high-quality service with a personal touch" is not a UVP. A real one is specific enough that a competitor couldn't paste it on their site.
