Review Funnel (Review Generation)

What it is

A review funnel is the system you build to consistently collect new customer reviews — typically an automated or semi-automated sequence of emails or texts sent after a transaction or service delivery, asking happy customers to share their experience on Google or another platform.

Why it matters

Reviews don't accumulate by luck. Businesses with 200+ Google reviews didn't get there by hoping. They built a repeatable process that makes it easy for satisfied customers to leave feedback. A steady flow of new reviews signals to Google that your business is active, trusted, and relevant.

The mistake most people make

Asking every customer to leave a review with no filtering. A better approach: first ask if they're happy, route satisfied customers to leave a public review, and route unhappy ones to a private feedback form where you can address the issue before it becomes a one-star post.
